Think Broadly. Learn Deeply.
Confidence Requires a Plan
Do the research to be informed about the future of work. Identify the opportunities, priority skills, and risks in the emerging future.
Define your plan to be relevant. Identify roles, skills, career preparation pathways that fit your goals, aptitudes and interests.
A resume is not enough. Create a portfolio of evidence of your skills, accessible by employers. Be visible!
Broadskilling is here to solve a problem. The demand for specific skills is high, but the supply of the needed skills is low.
The goal of Broadskilling is simple: To enable youth to have a plan to be relevant in the future of work.
Parents: Do your kids have a plan? Have they done the research to identify future skills?
Students: Do you have a short list of roles and skills in-demand in the future economy? Do you have a specific plan to be employable?
Adults/Educators: Do you have a teachable point of view about the future of work, and how to help youth plan to have a relevant career?
Doing the work in the Broadskilling plan will give you the ability to:
Become Future Aware: Develop your own informed view about the future of work. It is up to you to navigate your destiny. The step provides context before selecting a career.
Plan to be Relevant: Determine a plan to develop relevant skills, based on your own analysis of the opportunities in the future of work and your own self-awareness. You need to establish a clear direction before decisions about your path.
Build your Personal Brand: Provide evidence of skills. A resume is not enough. Build an indisputable portfolio of skills to attract employers.
